The player, ball or both ED?

I think you'll find the days of Julian Dicks putting players in row z doesn't go down too well with refs anymore.

Re: Jenkinson
agreed.......but if im jenkinson whats the one area im have the advantage...physicality

He didnt try to exploit that once, thats my point

Yeah, that'll work.

Re: Jenkinson
The problem with defending against Hazard is that he's so quick that it's incredibly difficult to get a tackle in. And, as Noble found out, if you so much as breathe on him, then he'll go down screaming and you'll get booked. Besides, you won't find many right backs who can deal with Hazard.

Rossal 11:16 Fri Mar 6
Re: Jenkinson
No im judging the lack of physicality shown by Jenkinson to a player much much smaller then him

Eerie Descent 6:26 Thu Mar 5
Re: Jenkinson
You're judging Hazard's ability on his height?

I'm done here with that sort of fucking debate, maybe you can go back and have it out in the 80's?

Rossal 5:57 Thu Mar 5
Re: Jenkinson
The same hazard whos 5ft 6 and yet Jenko didnt go through him till the 90th min, he is good........but think he looks better then what he is after the shit we've had at right back the last few years. Much more improvement is needed then many on here realise

Eerie Descent 5:49 Thu Mar 5
Re: Jenkinson
Ivanovic was playing right back for them, so not sure how Jenkinson was getting bullied by him, especially as he was trying to deal with Downing, who had him on toast a few times second half.

As for Hazard, you're talking about the best player in the league, by some distance, and one of the top 5 in the world, who is making mincemeat out of everyone week in, week out.

Who needs enemies with friends like these, eh?

Agree on the crossing, was gash last night at that. Cracking tackle mind.

Re: Jenkinson
must of missed something

Was a great tackle but last night was bullied by both Hazard and Ivanovic

Too many times as he has done all season in a good attacking position he is too happy to go backwards then to attack or get in behind the opposing full back

His crossing last night was poor, i thought he was one of our worse players last night, needs to improve from now till the end of the season if we are to get the checkbook out

That tackle was world class, speed he was going.

Get him in.

Re: Jenkinson
it has taken us a long fucking time to properly replace Lucas Neill. i'm fairly optimistic Sullivan will sort this to complete a settled defence moving forward.

Re: Jenkinson
No doubt tapping up happens all the time in footie outside of the transfer windows, so I'd like to think the Dave's have been all over the Arsenal already to find out the score with getting him permanently.

I have been extremely impressed and surprised by him, as he always seemed to do shit when in my dream team in previous seasons!!

Re: Jenkinson
Him and Cresswell probably the most consistant players this season for us.

Re: Jenkinson
Agreed def.

Close call between him and cresswell to be honest, both fantastic signings.

Cresswell is a tough little fucker too, can't believe how good in the air he is for a little fellow.

Re: Jenkinson
SIGN HIM UP!!

Another great display by probably my top player this season.

Great crosses and an amazing recovery to come back and Tackle Costa from the wrong side.

One of the tackles of the season.

Re: Jenkinson
If the clubs want to do a deal, that's what they'll do, regardless of the 'rules'. I guess we could agree a deal now which becomes effective in the off-season?

Re: Jenkinson
We cannot swap Jenkinson for Reid unless we do it during this current window. Reid will be out of contract and free in the summer whilst Jenkinson will command a fee.
